Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken said Tuesday that the United States would support Ukraine in trying to push Russian forces out of eastern Ukraine if that is what President Volodymyr Zelensky aims to do. Speaking at a hearing of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Blinken said, “If that is how they define their objectives as a sovereign, democratic, independent country, that’s what we’ll support.”
